Vision
The vision of the School of the Word is to mature and equip believers into disciples who are able to demonstrate the living Christ to the world.
Mission
The mission of the School of the Word is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry by educating their spirits and minds with the Word of God through classes, support groups, and home groups. These organized groups create an atmosphere for fellowship and for the impartation of both information and the application of learning.
Purpose
The purpose of School of the Word is to inform, instruct, train, and develop members of the Christian Life Church family to prepare them for fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for their lives.

The following Biblical principles represent the School of the Word Statement of Outcome:
- Hosea 4:6 - To attain the knowledge of God’s Word through classes/groups.
- Romans 12:2 - To acquire Bible-based, relevant truth that is aimed at the application of God’s Word to transform the student’s life as opposed to merely disseminating information through classes/groups.
- Ephesians 4:12 - To thoroughly equip the believer to do the work of the ministry through Connections.

The School of the Word curriculum is a one year biblical study program designed to help Christian believers become rooted and grounded in the truths of God’s Word. School of the Word offers three modules.
Module 1 (January – April)
• CB 100 Foundational Truths of the Christian Life (January)
• CB 101 Relationships: God, Family, Church & World (February)
• CB 102 The Believer’s Authority (March)
• CB 103 The Holy Spirit and Gifts of the Holy Spirit (April)
• Discipleship 1 (offerred monthly)
Module 2 (May - August)
• CB104 Jesus the Healer (May)
• CB105 Prayer (June)
• CB106 Faith (July)
• CB107 Power of the Tongue/Right and Wrong Thinking (Aug)
Module 3 (September - October)
• CB108 Know Your Ministry Gift (Sept-Oct)

Student Eligibility:
Discipleship 1 - This course is designed for new believers; however, anyone desiring to learn basic biblical foundational truths is eligible to register for this course.
Student Resposibilities:
Students are required to complete all 8 of the classes in Discipleship 1.
